OUR SUITE OF SOLAR CARPORT PRODUCTS

INHABIT Solar carports are architectural, modular, scalable, prefabricated, ship preassembled, utilize smart helical pile foundation systems, and are rapidly installed. These features allow our products to accommodate virtually any parking lot in a way that is fast, efficient, and affordable. All of our carports can be integrated with EV charging. Additionally, we offer a suite of add-on integrations that further transform parking lots into sustainable, productive and profitable urban spaces. All of our products are offered in aluminum and are 100% USA made, making them eligible for the 10% domestic content adder for a total 40% tax incentive when combined with the standard 30% ITC.

KEY DESIGN FEATURES

THE METHOD

One of our key specialties is designing for off site prefabrication, rapid erection systems, and smart foundations that can accommodate virtually any existing parking lot condition. These systems allow us to accurately budget construction costs, which are often the largest variable in any traditional solar instillation.

PREFABRICATION

INHABIT Solar’s products are designed so that no specialized manufacturing processes or unique fixtures and dies are required for fabrication. All components can be fabricated using the processes noted below. This allows Inhabit to work with most fabricators across the country and the ability to manufacture virtually anywhere in the world. Our fabricators also preassemble our carports at their facilities to minimize on site installation time.

PREASSEMBLY

Installing carports should be as easy as assembling a piece of furniture. Our carports come fully preassembled so that each leg simply needs to be placed on site and rotated up. See our assembly animation for full details.

HELICAL PILE FOUNDATIONS

Part of what makes our Carport products a suitable solution for virtually any parking lot is our use of helical pile foundations. They are economical, rapidly installed, modular and minimize site disturbance. Ultimately, using this system ensures that our installations can be installed in a very efficient and repeatable manner for every project. The helical installer creates a clean and level datum surface onto which the carport installer can install the carport structure without having to deal with existing site conditions, making each project rinse and repeat.
